Regeringen i Sverige beslutade förra året att införa elprisstödet p.g.a. höga elkostnader. Elprisstödet börjar betalas ut nu i februari månad.

Vi som bor på Brf Råckringen har individuell elmätning i varje lägenhet men föreningen står på elavtalet som elanvändare. Detta innebär att det är föreningen som får elprisstödet och inte medlemmarna individuellt. Styrelsen har beslutat att behålla elprisstödet och inte betala ut det till varje hushåll. Beslutet grundades på att den administrativa kostnaden för hanteringen av utbetalningen skulle bli lika mycket eller högre än elprisstödet i sig. Istället blir elprisstödet en intäkt till föreningen vilken ligger till grund för medlemmarnas avgift.

Observera att medlemmarna har redan haft rabatterat elpris med ca 75 öre/ kWh mot verklig kostnad under perioden 1 oktober 2021 - 30 september 2022. Genom att köpa in elen som föreningen sparar man in stora summor på elnätsavgiften jämfört med om varje enskild lägenhet ska stå för ett eget abonnemang. Det är också möjligt att förhandla sig till en lägre elkostnad per kWh eftersom en förening är en större kund.

The government in Sweden decided to subsidize the electricity price due to high electricity costs. The electricity price subsidy starts to be paid out now in the month of February.

We who live at Brf Råckringen have individual electricity metering in each apartment, but the association is on the electricity contract as electricity user. This means that it is the association that receives the electricity price support and not the members individually. The board has decided to keep the electricity price support and not pay it out to every household individually. The decision was based on the fact that the administrative cost of handling the payment would be as much or higher than the electricity price subsidy itself. Instead, the electricity price subsidy becomes an income for the association. Income of association is the basis for the members' fee.

Please note that the members have already had a discounted electricity price of approx. 75 öre/kWh compared to the actual cost during the period 1 October 2021 - 30 September 2022. By purchasing the electricity as an association, you save large sums on the electricity grid fee compared to if each individual apartment had to pay for own subscription. It is also possible to negotiate a lower electricity cost per kWh because an association is a larger customer.
